Cross Country

Whether it’s beating the person next to you at the start line or getting the fastest time on an app, you have a defined goal in mind. This is exactly what the Cross Country wheels are developed for: providing low accelerating mass and optimized rolling characteristics. The wheels may lose contact with the ground briefly and can handle occasional drops or jumps up to approx. 60 cm height.

Freeride/Downhill

The tension at the start house before the race run or before guinea pigging the self-built double leaves no room for other thoughts. That's why the Freeride wheels are designed for durability: in the unlikely event that you don't catch the perfect line or if you case the double. These wheels are made for bike parks and downhill tracks.

HYBRID MTB LIGHT SUPPORT

Built to advance. The Hybrid MTB LS mission was to develop a line tailored to the new, lighter eMTBs. Designed for riders who want to boost their experience and energize their speed on climbs, without having to compromise lighter weight and agility on descents. This range delivers the right resistance for those fast & technical trails, with a contained weight for tighter turns and longer airtime. The wheels are suitable for rough, blocked terrain with jumps or drops up to a height of approx. 120 cm.

HYBRID UTILITY

Due to the latest developments in electric motors and in pedelec concepts, it is possible to transport even larger loads while covering longer distances, often also on rougher tracks. However, this results in higher loads and charge on the wheels and their components. Hybrid Utility wheels by DT Swiss have been specifically developed and tested to cope with these increased physical strains. The tires may lose contact with the ground briefly when riding over drops up to 15 cm high.

ENDURANCE

You love riding long road rides, alone or in a group. Unpaved roads and paths or uneven road surfaces don't bother you; your wheels are more comfortable thanks to wider road bike tires, which may lose contact with the ground briefly when riding over drops of up to 15 cm high. Endurance wheels made from aluminum and carbon are available only for disc brake systems, with various rim heights up to a maximum of 45 mm.

Cross Road

You ride over a wide range of terrain during training or in races, sometimes muddy or sandy. The tires may lose contact with the ground briefly when riding over drops up to 15 cm high, but you keep control of your bike in tight sections at all times and can quickly accelerate. Aerodynamics are less important to you, so rim heights are lower. The Cross Road wheels made from aluminum and carbon are only available for disc brake systems.

Gravel

You avoid traffic by taking unpaved roads where your comfortable wide tires may sometimes briefly lose contact with the ground when riding over drops up to 15 cm high. The higher system weight of the wheels gives your gravel bike the reliability you need for lengthy bikepacking trips. All carbon and aluminum models in the gravel category are available in standard wheel size 700C and the smaller 650B size. Gravel bikes in this category need disc brake systems, given the stronger forces triggered by the various stresses you encounter on the terrain.

Track

You ride without shifting, with only one fixed gear. Whether on the track or in the city, you ride on mainly well-paved roads where your tires may briefly lose contact with the ground unintentionally. You brake by pedaling slower – you can't stop the aluminum or carbon wheels with a rim brake or disc brake.
