Made to aerodynamically maximize your performance on flat to undulating
courses with cutting-edge technologies. Developed together with the aero
experts from Swiss Side, the full carbon rear disc wheel is made for
disc brake bikes only and with its 20 mm rim inner width optimized for
wider tires to reduce rolling resistance and increase comfort. At its
center is the 180 DICUT hub with Ratchet EXP System and SINC ceramic
bearings, the jewel in the crown. The ARC 1100 DICUT DISC inspires every
time trialist and triathlete to pedal even harder.

The valve hole is closed with a smooth-transitioning lid to ensure optimal aerodynamics and to minimalize turbulences.
In addition to the red sticker, three color variants (gold, chrome and black) for self-application are enclosed in the delivery.
Due to the wider clearance created by the disc brake system, the ARC 1100 DICUT DISC wheel is developed with an optimal shape and a rim inner width tailored to the Aero category.
The disc wheel is developed for tubeless tire systems to improve riding characteristics such as rolling resistance and to reduce and simplify service.
Lighter, stiffer, more precise and easier to maintain - the 180 DICUT hub with Ratchet EXP technology and SINC Ceramic bearings establishes longevity.
THE COMPLETION
The ARC 1100 DICUT DISC completes DT Swiss’ Aero lineup with our fastest rear wheel: 2 watts* of power savings over the 80 mm rim height are the result.
We believe in the art of engineering and strive for sophistication in the product development process. Our guiding idea is to constantly push barriers with our inhouse developed technologies.

The current DT Swiss wheels are tubeless-ready and come with mounted tubeless rim tape and corresponding valves. For conversion, you will need a tubeless-capable tire (optimal: UST) and tire sealant. You can find both at an official dealer. Our How To video will take you through step-by-step assembly.
If you have previously ridden your bike with a tube or if the tape no longer sticks properly to the rim, we recommend that you replace the rim tape as a precaution.
How to attach the tubeless rim tape:
1. Measure the inside width of the rim.
2. The tubeless rim tape should be approx. 2 mm wider than the rim and can be bought from a specialist store.
3. Apply the tubeless rim tape. Depending on the rim/tire combination, it may be helpful to apply two or three layers of tubeless rim tape to optimally seal the rim bed.

At temperatures of 200 degrees, carbon will start to wave and lose its stability.
The exhaust gases from a car can be up to 500 degrees Celsius. When transporting your carbon wheel with a rear carrier, make sure that there is sufficient distance to avoid such defects!
Contact the manufacturer of your rear carrier for a protective device.
If you discover this deformation on your wheel, contact our Service Centre.
DT Swiss sells its products exclusively via official dealers, some of which also have online shops. Please contact your dealer. Or contact the distributor for your country – please use the contact form and select your country first, followed by "Product availability" as the subject.
Unfortunately we don't offer discounts; we don't sell directly to private customers. Please contact a dealer. You can find recommended retail prices on our website.
By buying a DT Swiss carbon wheel, you will benefit from the Fair Share Policy which allows you to profit from a crash replacement service for your wheels, available for 10 years after purchase.
Experience the speed of the fastest ARC Aero wheels in Zwift: The ARC 1100 DICUT DISC rear wheel is now available in the “Drop Shop”. In combination with the ARC 1100 DICUT 80 front wheel, this wheelset will lead you to new PB in the game on flat and slightly undulating courses and segments – just like in the real world.

«It is so responsive it doesn't feel too different to a deep rim and of course it is the fastest there is.»

«All you hear is your breath and the satisfying sound of whoosh-whoosh. It gives you a sense of being one with the road. Especially in Ironman racing where you are set back from your competitor and all you hear is your breath and the satisfying woosh-woosh-woosh of the disc. It allows you to settle in, to feel how smooth your equipment is and also push to your maximum ability to the end of the bike split!»
FABIAN CANCELLARA
2x Olympic Individual Time Trial Champion (2008/2016)
«For me, the disc was and is THE sign of a real time trial and gave me the pure, mental motivation to pedal full speed. It was the last bit of difference in material to complete a perfect time trial.»

«The nature of the bike course is important when it comes to choice of setup. What’s great about the quality and weight of the new ARC 1100 DICUT DISC is that I now only have to change the front wheel. The disc is light enough for hilly courses and fast in all conditions. At the same time I can run a tubeless setup with wider tires which is both the fastest and most comfortable solution.»

«With the growing popularity of high-volume tyres, both for ride quality and potential rolling resistance gains, DT Swiss has shaped the ARC 1100 DICUT DISC with an internal rim width of 20mm. Recommended tyre width is rated between 25-32mm, making it easier to mix and match with contemporary options from the best road bike tyres.»

«On paper, it ticks just about all of the boxes I’d look for, if I had to choose one disc-brake-disc. I like the 20mm internal rim width, the lack of tire restrictions, the weight, the brake compatibility (Center Lock), and DT’s typically very high build quality. If that’s what you’re looking for, I think it would be hard to find something better.»

The light and stiff carbon frames of modern road bikes perform directly, transmitting impacts and vibrations of uneven road surfaces unhindered into the body. With correspondingly lower tire pressure, wider tires are able to counteract; through the larger air volume between the road and the rim, shocks and impacts are more cushioned, resulting in increased comfort for the rider.

The 20 mm rim inner width of the disc wheel is in line with the Aero category. The ARC 1100 DICUT DISC is compatible to wider, modern rear tires. The larger air volume allows the tire to be ridden at a lower tire pressure without risking a pinch flat.
